I first started blogging in 2006 when I was in Library school. I wanted a place to share my thoughts, dreams, horror stories, and everything else that comes up when you work in an information sharing profession. I was much more about networking and connecting back then. I wanted my blog to reach other librarians and authors. And, amazingly enough, it did! I built a nice blogging relationship with one author in particular and I’m still always happy to see when she has a new book for sale!
What first brought me to this author’s blog? She gave away free chocolate once a month! That’s right. Free chocolate! In fact, I even won her monthly drawing the first time I entered. (My dad, quite intrigued by this free chocolate thing, also entered and won a few months later.) I’ve been thinking about this giveaway a lot lately and I decided that this is something I want to try, too. There are a lot of blogs out there and I’m always grateful for the readers that stop by mine.
Starting in December, I will be giving away a box of chocolates once a month to one lucky visitor. There are three ways to be entered:
-Leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite kind of candy (or treat).
-Answer the Rafflecopter “Why do you want chocolate” question.
-Tweet about the giveaway.
That’s it! Our first winner will be chosen on January 1, 2015 and a new Free Chocolate giveaway will be posted for that month.
Good luck everyone!
