2015 Reading Challenge {Week Two}

I am officially on Week 2 of my 2015 50 Book Challenge. I’ve managed to get quite a few people to play along with me and it’s been awesome.  I think the best part so far is that I’m already reading outside of my comfort zone {read: YA or smut} and am enjoying it thoroughly.  I managed to finish the 500+ pages of Sandstorm this past week.  I mentioned last week that I really hoped the book would pick up, and after the first one hundred pages, it did!  Yowzers!  It felt like Indiana Jones meets the DaVinci Code and I could not put it down.  I’m already thinking I might have to read the second book in the series as my book that is over 500 pages. 🙂

Last night I started Gina Sheridan’s I Work at a Public Library: A Collection of Crazy Stories from the Stacks.  I originally started this book thinking I would use it to fill my nonfiction requirement, but I might use it instead as the book I can finish it a day.  I have to decide where I want to put it.  {Of course, I can read most New Adult books in a day, too…. so it might be back to my non fiction requirement.}

Anywho, this book is rocking my socks.  I am actually laughing out loud as I read it, which is pretty incredible.  If you work at a public library, spend your free time at a library, or are just curious what library staff does all day, you need to read this book.  It is AWESOME!

What have you been reading this past week?  Anything awesome?  How about something you couldn’t stand?  Let me know in the comments.

Happy reading everyone,
