2015 Reading Challenge {Week Three}

Ahhhhh.  Welcome to Week 3 of the 2015 Reading Challenge.  As predicted last week, I finished Gina Sheridan’s I Work at a Public Library: A Collection of Crazy Stories from the Stacks in a day.  Also, I did decide to make it my non fiction book, so now I will have to find another book to read in one day.  (I don’t think it will be too hard to do.)

After finishing I Work at a Public Library, I jumped into Gail Carriger’s Etiquette and Espionage. {#24. A book based entirely on its cover.}  I first saw this book last year and was immediately drawn to its cover.  I love everything about it and was excited to start reading.  Unfortunately, I’m moving along a lot slower than I anticipated.  I think I was expecting the book to feel more like the His Fair Assassin trilogy, but it’s much lighter and the characters are younger.  I don’t dislike what I’m reading, but it’s just not what I was expecting.  I will be done in the next few days and will talk about it more next week.

IMG_0347I also started my first audiobook of 2015, the final book in Maria V. Snyder’s Glass trilogy, Spy Glass.  I love love love this trilogy and can’t wait to hear what happens to Opal Cowan in this series’ conclusion.  I usually listen to audiobooks in my car, but I now find myself listening more when I exercise, walk my dog, and clean the kitchen.  {Can I give a big shout out to Audible.com?  I love having access to audiobooks on my phone.}  On a sidenote, I decided that I am not going to count my audiobooks towards the Popsugar 50 Book Challenge.  They will count as a book I read this year, but I really want to “read” my fifty books for this challenge because it’s important to me to make the time for my reading.

That about does it for me.  How was your reading this week?  Any books you want to share?  I would love to hear about them.

Until next week…
