2015 Reading Challenge {Week Seven}

Happy Tuesday everyone!  If you’re on the east coast, I hope you’re surviving all of the snow.  I swear I am so over the winter.  How much longer til Spring??

I sat down and finished Anne Bishop’s Heir to the Shadows this past week.  I actually really enjoyed it and am excited to finish the trilogy.  However, before I begin Queen of the Darkness, I had to start Richelle Mead’s The Ruby Circle.

Last week I wrote about The Arcana Chronicles being my second favorite YA series.  Well, Vampire Academy is my all time favorite!  I loved Rose and her kick ass personality.  She is a strong female character that knows how to fight and also how to show love, both great qualities for teens {and adults} to read about.  The Ruby Circle is book 6 in the Bloodlines series, a spinoff of Vampire Academy.  I have really enjoyed reading about Sydney and Adrian, about how much they have grown as characters, ad well as the love they share for each other.  If you are a fan of non sparkly vampires, these are two series that shouldn’t be missed.
