2015 Reading Challenge {Week Nine} AND A Chocolate Winner

Hey everyone!  Happy Hump Day.

I currently have a stack of 13 books waiting to be read on my end table in the living room.  Every March I run a YA March Madness display in my teen space and I, of course, always find several new books that I need to read.  {That’s how I found We Were Liars.}  To add to the crazy, I’m also doing a Fiction March Madness on my library’s Facebook page and have found a few more books that I DYING to read right now.  Speaking of the Fiction March Madness, you all should totally all play along…

March Madness 2015Click the above picture to make it huge {and see the book covers}, then click here to go and vote in the Round of 32.  Please and thank you. Also, let me know in the comments section if you’ve read any of these books and what you thought of them.  {I loved Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer.}

Now, moving on to my 50 Book Challenge… This past week I picked up The Skinwalker’s Apprentice: An Emerald Kipp Novella by Claribel Ortega. {A book written by an author with your same initials.}

I can describe this book in one word: Snooze.  I’m trying really hard to like it, but it’s pretty painful.  I still have 50 more pages though, so maybe something amazing will happen?  Hopefully.  I really don’t have anything else to add, except I’ll be happy when I’m done so I can attack one of the other books waiting for me in my TBR pile.

I also started Richelle Mead’s Gameboard of the Gods on audio two days ago.  I likey.  A lot.  But I’m a fangirl.  Still, I did spend my hour lunch break today sitting in my car listening.

Lastly, before I go, congrats to February’s chocolate winner, Liz B.  Liz, you will be getting your chocolate shortly and I will post the March chocolate drawing tomorrow.  Have a great night, everyone!
