2015 Reading Challenge {Week Eleven}

This might be the most boring Reading Challenge update all year.  This is the first time in 2015 that I did not finish a book in a one week span.  Wah wahhhh.  I’m still trucking along with I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes.  I like it.  I swear.  But it’s long and a little all over the place.  I start to lose interest in the story and then am not as fast to pick it up when I have down time.  BUT, I’m determined to have it finished by next Tuesday.  I already know what I want to read next. {Spoiler alert: It’s my graphic novel}

Another reason I might have been so slow with I Am Pilgrim is because I spent most of my free time listening to Gameboard of the Gods by Richelle Mead.  I LOVED this book!  To be fair, I love Richelle Mead and everything she does, but this book was fun, fast, and really easy to get into.  It was 16 hours on audio and I would spend my lunch breaks, sitting in my car, listening.  I finished in less than a week and am now listening to book two in the Age of X series, The Immortal Crown.  I’m trying not to listen too fast because I have no idea when book three will be released.

Lastly, if you’ve been playing along at home, please feel free to vote in my library’s 2015 Fiction March Madness Final 4 here.  And here’s the current bracket: March Madness 2015 Final 4{I’m team Annihilation.}

I’ll be back next Tuesday with a better update.  My book club is also meeting this weekend, so I should have some great book updates from them, too.  Happy reading!
